Art in Health Care
The University of Missouri Health Care is committed to creating a healing environment for patients, their families, friends and staff. The Art in Health Care program integrates visual, literary and performing arts as essential components of health care to create a positive environment for healing the body, mind and spirit.
PACE is a community partner with Art in Health Care. We provide performances for patients on monthly basis in the Pediatric and Adolescent wards. Additionally, we perform one production per year to educate Columbia and surrounding area students about health and other issues through our Arts in Health program. Our 2009 production of The Jellybean Conspiracy will be presented in January at Jesse Hall Auditorium.
