Trent Rash

Trent Rash holds a Masters of Music degree in Vocal Performance from the University of Missouri (2009), where he also received a Bachelor of Science degree in Music Education (2004). Trent had the pleasure of singing the roles of Alfred in Die Fledermaus, Pierre in The Wandering Scholar, Nemorino in L'elisir D'amore, and Tamino in The Magic Flute in full Show-Me Opera Theatre productions. Memorable past musical theatre roles include Issachar/Baker in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Rooster Hannigan in Annie, Ugly (the Duckling) in Honk!, the Minstrel in Once Upon A Mattress, and Mark in RENT. Trent was one of thirty singers nationally to be selected to sing in a Jerry Herman master class at the 2003 Music Educators National Convention in Minneapolis, MN. Other solo engagements include appearances in the Odyssey Chamber Music Series and as the tenor soloist in Bach's Magnficat and Handel's Messiah. Trent made his directorial debut in 2004 and his directing/musical directing credits include Oklahoma!, Mame, CATS, The King and I, West Side Story, Into the Woods, and Fiddler on the Roof. Trent serves on the music faculty at Stephens College and manages RashMusik, his private voice studio.
