Jacqueline Rash is from Phoenix Arizona where she studied ballet with Miss. Betty Herriage from the age of 8 and jazz, lyrical, modern and hip hop with Mrs. Kathleen Marcum at Thunderbird High School. She was also on the dance team, speech team and in her four high school musicals, including Cinderella, which is the first musical she choreographed. She went on to study dance at Stephens College, earning a B.F.A. which included disciplines such as flamenco, tap, Irish step dancing, African, jazz, ballet, pointe and modern with a heavy emphasis on improvisation and choreography. She danced with a modern dance company in Chicago for two years before deciding to move back to Missouri to raise a family. She has had the opportunity to choreograph for Hickman High School, Performing Arts in Children's Education, Columbia Independent School, Moon Belly Dance Studio, Heritage Academy in Columbia and Clowns and Criers in Shelbina. Her favorite choreographic endeavors include West Side Story, CATS, FAME, State Fair, High Society and Be Italian from Nine. Jacqueline has enjoyed teaching ballet, theater dance, childrens dance and pointe for PACE's Limelight Dance Studio since its inception in 2009. She is a proud mother of Claire and Elliot, who will both be in elementary school in the near future.
