Debbie Kindle is a graduate of Oklahoma State University with a degree in Music Education with a major in voice and a minor in piano. She completed a Master in Music Education at the University of Oklahoma, where she was a graduate instructor in the music education department, again with an emphasis in voice and piano. She has performed with Lyric Theatre in Oklahoma City, Theatre Tulsa, Oklahoma State Opera Company, and Maplewood Barn Theatre in Columbia. Debbie has taught both vocal and instrumental music in Oklahoma, Kansas, and Missouri for the past 30 years and has also taught private voice and piano at the Eastwood Music Conservatory as well as having private studios throughout her career. She has just finished eight years as the Upper School Choral Director at Columbia Independent School. Before joining the staff at CIS, she was the music instructor at Christian Chapel Academy in Columbia, where she began the choir and band programs as well as teaching all of the elementary music classes. During these past 30 years she has directed numerous student musical performances.
Debbie’s experiences with PACE include the musical direction of “Redwall” and “Annie, Jr.” as well as director/musical director of “Aladdin, Jr.”
